PROJECT: Unofficial album artwork. The goal was to redesign the album Welcome by Daði Freyr. It was crucial to represent the sound of the album, which combines Europop, dance-worthy experimental pop and pure retro funk. The final album artwork is a vibrant space landscape with playful and outlandish items such as a giant neon sign in the middle of space, and a floating electric guitar spaceship. Retro funk elements such as the video game-esque pixelated type and neon lights add a sense of nostalgia from 80s films while transporting the audience to new adventures in sound.
